A Busy 2012 Fall Season for Holden Research and Consulting

Posted on August 27, 2012

As summer winds down, I usually expect my pace to lessen a bit, but not this year! I have many interesting projects on the horizon, and lots of travel and speaking engagements as well. Towards the end of August I spent almost a week in Canada in both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick presenting some of my research for Acadian Seaplants Ltd. October 20-23 I will be at the annual CAPCA (California Association of Pest Control Advisers) meeting in Anaheim, and I hope to see many of you there.

From October 27-November 7 I will return to Australia with FBSciences for my fourth trip in the past two years. I will be presenting some of my research to various IHD (Independent Horticultural Distributors) members in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania. I always enjoy seeing my Aussie mates.

In November, I have a really exciting new opportunity. From November 26-29 I will be presenting more of my research at The 1st World Conference on the Use of Biostimulants in Agriculture in Strasbourg, France. Biostimulants are a fascinating and potentially highly effective group of products that stimulate plant growth. Ask me about them sometime!

I am also looking forward to this trip because it is affording me the opportunity to travel with my wife to Europe for the first time. We are taking advantage of this time by touring Italy the week before, and we are really looking forward to it. So as you can see, it is a busy, interesting fall season coming up for Holden Research and Consulting!
